We’ve made consistent progress on improving our product. Our initial iteration allowed truck drivers to post their available capacity on our reverse load board. This put more eyes on the truck, effectively flipping the script and inviting any interested shippers to call the driver. Shortly after, we introduced manual matching. Our process was to hand-pick loads based on the driver’s truck post and e-mail them three load options. At times this could take our team hours. This method was time consuming for HaulHound, and more importantly, grossly inefficient for the truck driver. Freight requires urgency and our goal is to keep truck drivers rolling. That’s why we are thrilled to announce the flagship update for this release, Real-Time Digital Freight Matching.
Matching aims to equal the playing field for independent owner-operators, as well as expand freight options for large and small fleet managers. While we maintain our bread and butter of increasing our user’s visibility, this new feature allows truck drivers find the ideal load and call on it. Our filtered freight matches provide contact info for the shipper and/or broker.
