HaulHound left the Great American Trucking Show as one of the top new freight-trucking apps featured at the show according to The Commercial Carriers Journal—who has a readership of 96,500 within the freight transport community.
They wrote, “Unlike traditional load boards, in which shippers and brokers post loads and truckers search for them, HaulHound effectively flips the script” by “listing their equipment type and specializations, [so] owner-operators can list price points, [and] any calls they receive from brokers or shippers are legitimately priced.”
Our philosophy and services, which benefit both shippers and trucking companies, recently caught the eye of the Discovery Channel.
They thought the idea of creating a FREE open marketplace for shippers to connect with truckers was revolutionary. After going on the app, they were also impressed with the ease of use, clean design, and intuitiveness.
So, Discovery Channel contacted Andy and told him one of their representatives who traveled to different trucking trade shows looking for new innovative technologies came across HaulHound. They were the most impressed with us and our technology and wanted to get guest access to take a look at the app and the website so they could do an app review.
Since our episode aired in mid-October, our website nearly doubled its view total. Such positive reviews are helping us extend our reach in the shipper market, giving us a solid foothold to build our platform and modernize logistics for truckers and shippers alike.
